HEVU is built for quotation work at shading dealers and manufacturers. Product, dimensions, drawing and price come together in one process, leaving more time for customers and orders.
Select the product, dimensions and specification. Supported drawings come from the configuration and pricing uses your own price list. When a customer requests a change, adjust the item and recalculate.
The technical drawing, specification and price help explain what the quotation includes. Customers can review the proposed solution more easily, while you discuss concrete details.
Contact details, quotations and internal notes stay together in CRM. Start the next call or revision from the existing history, with less searching and repeated data entry.
Field checks and technical warnings help identify detected omissions and configuration discrepancies early. This can reduce the risk of later corrections and remanufacturing; final manufacturer checks remain part of the process.

Select the product and enter the site survey information. Check the width, height and the settings relevant to that product. If the customer already exists in the CRM, link the quote to the existing customer record. Contact details and history can then stay together, giving you a clearer view of the work already discussed with that person or business.
Use the technical drawing to understand the configuration and your own price list as the basis for the quote calculation. Review the item, accessories and total. Alongside the application’s checks, follow your professional process for verifying the site survey and compliance with manufacturer requirements. If a detail changes, check the relevant specification again before treating the quote as ready to send.
Choose the document language, review the company and customer details, then generate the PDF quote. Select where to save it so you can store and send the document according to your own workflow. Online quote sharing is a separate option with its own data transfer. Saving a local PDF is independent of publishing the quote online.
A branded document starts with the right business information. Before preparing your first quote, review the company name, contact details and logo. Then check the customer record: the contact person and the company may have different names, and both should be recorded accurately. For an existing customer, use their current contact details rather than automatically copying information from an old document.
After importing your price list, select a familiar product and create a quote for your own review. Check that the chosen unit, dimensions and price produce the expected result together. This helps you understand how your catalogue behaves before you send a document to a real customer. HEVU works with the prices and configuration you provide; your company’s commercial decisions remain yours.
Open the completed PDF and read it from the customer’s point of view. Is the product description clear? Are the necessary dimensions included? Does it show the right company and customer? A short review before sending can become part of your own process, regardless of how many items the quote contains. Keep internal discussions in the CRM, separate from the text you hand over to the customer.
Choose a product group to see what goes into the quote.
Dimensions, shutter box, guide rails and operation together define the roller shutter you are quoting. The front view, box cross-section and operating view help you check the selected configuration. Use your own products and prices to calculate the quote, then include the technical information and price in the PDF. Before sending, check that the selected components match the measurements and the manufacturer’s requirements.
Learn more: Roller shuttersFor external venetian blinds, the dimensions and configuration should both be clear. The selected product, slat type and controls can be included when preparing the quote. Keeping the specification together helps your salesperson and customer discuss the same solution when confirming an order. It also gives you a reference for checking which variant was quoted if the customer later asks for a different option.
Learn more: External venetian blindsOpening dimensions, configuration and operation are connected details when quoting a zip screen. In HEVU, you can prepare the quote item around your own product range. Technical details and price can be brought together in one document, so the customer does not have to reconstruct the offer from separate messages. Check the item before sending to make sure the description reflects the solution you intend to supply.
Learn more: Zip screensSelecting the right type and entering the dimensions provide the starting point for an insect screen quote. Choose from your own products and attach the relevant configuration information to the quote item. If one customer needs several openings covered, or a combination of different solutions, keep the items together in a single quote. Clear item descriptions make it easier to discuss individual openings without losing the context of the full order.
Learn more: Insect screensWidth, projection and operation are important when selecting an awning. HEVU helps you organise the configuration and the associated prices into a quote. The customer receives a document that explains the selected solution alongside its price, rather than a total with no specification. You can review the quote as a whole and confirm that the chosen product and accessories reflect the requirements discussed with the customer.
Learn more: AwningsA more complex pergola quote can be organised into individual items and technical details. Enter the dimensions and available configuration options, then assign the relevant prices. When preparing the next stage of the job, you can check which configuration appeared in the customer’s quote and which details still need confirmation. The quote supports the discussion; site conditions, installation requirements and final technical approval still need appropriate professional review.
Learn more: PergolasBoth dimensions and configuration matter when quoting a garage door. Use your own product range to prepare the item and its price. Keeping the technical details in the quote helps avoid searching through earlier emails for basic measurements or the selected variant when the order is finalised. Review the dimensions and specification against the site survey before proceeding with the next stage of the work.

Choose the product group, enter the dimensions and configuration, then work with your own range and prices. Prepare the technical specification and customer quote in the same workflow, keeping the selected product and its commercial details together.
Prices, customers and documents: connected parts of your working day.
PDFs with your company details and logo give your quotes a consistent presentation. Products, prices and technical drawings can appear together, helping the customer understand what is included. Taking care when you first enter the company details makes subsequent documents easier to prepare. Check the business name and contact information before sending, especially when the person you are speaking to represents a different company.
Learn more: Quotes with your own brandingThe built-in CRM keeps customer contact details, related quotes and internal customer notes together. When a customer returns, you can review the history instead of relying on memory. Notes written for internal customer management remain in the CRM. The text intended for the customer’s quote is managed separately, so you can organise your work without mixing internal discussions with the document you send.
Learn more: Customer management alongside your quotesWork with your company’s own products and prices. You can import a price list from Excel or CSV and organise the products in the catalogue. After importing, review product names, units and prices before sending a customer quote. HEVU calculates using the business data you provide. Testing a familiar product first helps you check that the imported information produces the result you expect.
Learn more: Your price list, with Excel and CSV importEnter dimensions in millimetres and use the drawing to review the configuration. For supported products, the front view, box cross-section and operating view show the related details. You can check the technical solution as well as the total price while preparing the quote, and clarify anything that needs attention before sending. The drawing supports this review; it does not replace a site survey or manufacturer approval.
Learn more: Technical specifications in millimetresChoose the document language to suit your customer, independently of the interface language. Translation helps you work with partners who use another language; online translation requires an internet connection. Before sending, check the technical content, particularly custom product names and your own text. These describe the details of your range, so a final review remains useful even when the rest of the document follows a standard format.
Learn more: Multilingual PDF quotesKeep the work connected to a quote in view as the job progresses. Work orders and production preparation help make the technical and commercial background available for the next stage. Before a final production decision, the site measurements, configuration and current manufacturer requirements still need checking. Having the quote information together gives that review a clearer starting point and helps identify details that require confirmation.
Learn more: Work orders and production preparationWork with several partner companies through the partner features. A manufacturer can publish product data in a shared catalogue for authorised partners. Your local range can be kept separate from products supplied through a partner. Sharing is an online function: the catalogue information you publish is also sent to the partner service. Review the selected products and shared prices before making them available to other businesses.
Learn more: Connections between manufacturers and dealersHEVU is a desktop application that stores its workspace in encrypted files on your own computer. Managing local customer records, quotes and your own price list does not depend on automatically copying the entire workspace to cloud storage. Online services transfer specific data separately. The next section explains these distinctions so you can understand both where the primary working data lives and which features use the internet.
Learn more: An encrypted local workspaceA quote is more than a total. It combines customer details, measurements, specifications, your own price list and your company’s presentation. HEVU connects these parts so that preparing the quote and moving to the next stage of the job can rely on the same information. Each part supports a practical step in your daily work.
HEVU’s built-in CRM connects customer management with quotation work. Record the person’s name, company and contact details, view related quotes and write internal notes for the next conversation. When you work with the same customer again, the history gives you a starting point. You can keep the relationship and its documents together instead of recreating the context from separate lists.
For example, after a phone call you might record that the customer wants another site survey. That is internal customer management information, not a comment automatically added to the quote. Enter the text intended for the customer document separately. This distinction helps keep internal job planning and the commercial information sent to the customer from becoming mixed together.
The system supports customer work from the initial contact through to the document, using the data in your local workspace. An independent dealer can review a customer’s history just as a manufacturer or distributor can review work connected with its partners. Accurate records also help with later tasks: the basic contact information does not have to be reconstructed from unrelated files.
Local workspace
We understand that a price list, a custom product range or a customer quote contains sensitive commercial information. HEVU therefore runs as a desktop application on Windows and macOS. Its encrypted local workspace files are stored on your computer, rather than in a cloud service that automatically mirrors the entire workspace.
You enter your own prices for calculation, combining them with the product configuration to build your quote. Local customer records, quotes and CRM notes support your daily work. Accounts, access checks and the online services you choose to use still operate over the internet. It is therefore important to distinguish local storage from the data transfers required by those services.
The technical engine receives the dimensions and configuration needed for its calculations. The application filters out customer and pricing fields that do not belong in that request. Some checks also transmit product names, item codes and technical properties. The technical endpoint does not save the geometry as a server-side workspace. This describes that calculation service specifically, rather than promising that no HEVU feature ever sends business information online.
For PDF translation, the text to be translated is sent to an online translation service. When you share an online quote, you also transfer the quote information needed to display it. If you publish a manufacturer catalogue for partners, the selected catalogue data, including shared prices, becomes part of the online partner service. These features need to be considered separately from the encrypted local workspace.
Local storage does not mean completely offline operation. The distinction is that your computer holds the primary working copy of your day-to-day business data, while online features use specific information. Protect your computer and maintain backups as well: local storage does not replace either measure. Signing in on a different computer does not automatically transfer the business data from your existing local workspace.
Prepare quotes with your own prices and branding, while keeping customer information and history in the CRM. Work with multiple manufacturers or partner companies through the catalogues available within authorised partner relationships. Your customer work and supplier relationships can connect to the same quotation process. The available partner access depends on the relationship and the catalogue the partner chooses to share.
Organising your range and publishing a partner catalogue helps you coordinate with dealers. Authorised partners can work with shared product data, while technical information for quotes can be prepared in a clearer form. Publishing a catalogue is online sharing, so review the information and prices you intend to make available first. Your local product range and the selection you publish are distinct considerations.
Measurements and technical views help explain the selected solution. While preparing a quote, you can review the configuration alongside the information intended for the document. HEVU supports this process; checking the architectural design, suitability for the site and any required specialist approval remains the responsibility of the appropriate professional. Use the configuration as a basis for discussion rather than a substitute for those checks.
Customer, quote and related work order information help you prepare the next task. Before starting a job, review the dimensions and configuration on which the quote was based. Record site changes and the outcome of discussions according to your own process, so the next stage uses current information. Keeping the original quote accessible also helps explain why a detail may need to be confirmed again.

PricingThere is no additional fee for installing the software. Once your account is approved, download the Windows or Mac installer for your computer. After installation, sign in, enter your company details and start preparing your first quote. The technical calculation engine needs an internet connection. Your own products and prices form the basis of the commercial calculation.
You do not have to purchase a mandatory training package before you start. The documentation explains the steps, and you can ask for help through your account or the contact form. Setting up your company details and price list is part of getting your workspace ready. Guidance is available for these steps too, so you can learn the process using a product you already know.
HEVU’s subscription model is based on monthly billing. Early access is free at present. Future plans and prices will be published on the Pricing page, and we will announce changes in advance. You can then decide whether to continue with a clear understanding of the conditions. No payment card is required for early access.
HEVU is designed to be accessible to small businesses and larger companies alike. Independent dealers, manufacturers and distributors can all use it. You can find the current access conditions on the Pricing page. Early access is currently free, and you do not need to provide payment card details.
If you need help, write to us through Support or Developer message in your account. You can also send a question using the contact form, or follow the steps in the documentation. You do not have to wait for a compulsory paid training session to start learning how HEVU fits your work.
Tell us which action you were trying to complete, which operating system you use and what happened. Where possible, use a short example without personal data rather than sending sensitive customer information. This makes the specific step easier to identify while keeping the information you share proportionate to the question. A general question does not require your full price list or customer file.

Downloads become available after approval, rather than immediately after submitting a registration request.
Yes. Sign-in and access checks, the technical engine, online translation and sharing require an internet connection. Keeping your workspace on your computer does not make HEVU a completely offline application. Some features are unavailable without connectivity, so arrange an internet connection for the work that depends on those services.
Your local workspace is stored in encrypted files on your computer. Account services operate online, technical calculations use configuration data, and translation sends text to a translation service. Sharing an online quote or partner catalogue also transmits the content you choose to share. These transfers are different from automatically backing up your entire local workspace to the cloud.
HEVU is a desktop application for Windows and macOS. On your account’s download page, select the installer for your computer. On a Mac, also check the computer type when choosing the download. Installation guidance is available in the documentation. You need an approved account and an internet connection for the functions that use online services.
The website is available in Hungarian, German, English, Croatian, Spanish, Italian and Polish. Within the software, choose the working language and PDF quote language separately from the available options. This lets you use an interface suited to your work while preparing a document for your customer. Review the output of online translation before sending it.
Write through Support or Developer message in your account, or use the contact form. The documentation explains the usage steps. Describe the specific action involved in your question and share only the information needed to understand it. Do not automatically attach an internal price list or a complete customer document to a general support enquiry.
You are responsible for protecting the local workspace. Use HEVU’s backup and restore functions, and keep the backup in a protected location separate from the computer. Keep the password for a portable backup safe too. When changing computers, follow the documented restoration steps. Signing in alone does not automatically move your local business data to the new device.
