1. Who handles your data?
HEVU's operator is controller for account, licence, support and security data. Official identity details appear in the Legal Notice and order confirmation; privacy contact: info@hevu.eu. Your business controls the customer data you enter; HEVU may act as processor when handling transmitted data on your behalf.
2. Data and purposes
Registration, contact, company and licence details support account creation, contractual delivery and customer service. IP addresses, device and application details, sign-in and acceptance records protect access, prevent abuse and evidence contracts. Support messages and submitted attachments are used to resolve requests. Legal bases are contract, legal obligation or legitimate interests meeting necessity and balancing requirements. Optional consent-based processing requires a separate choice.
3. Local workspace and online actions
The workspace is primarily stored encrypted on your computer. This does not make every feature offline: sign-in, licensing, technical calculations, translation, sharing and support may process necessary data online. Shared quotations and material sent to support reach their intended recipients. Send customer information, confidential business data or sensitive personal data only where necessary; local backups are your responsibility.
4. Service providers and transfers
Rackhost Zrt. provides web hosting and related operations; Supabase provides authentication and related database services. The inspected Supabase project's region is eu-west-1, Ireland. Paddle handles new purchases' payment and billing information as an independent controller; HEVU does not receive full card numbers or security codes. Records held by an earlier payment provider may remain subject to retention duties. Online translation may also use the configured translation provider. Transfers outside the EEA require appropriate GDPR safeguards and information.
5. Retention and cookies
Active account data are kept for the service relationship and as long as needed for the stated purpose. Accounting and tax records follow statutory retention periods; necessary dispute or incident records may be retained separately. When the relationship ends, unnecessary online data must be deleted or anonymised; backup copies expire on the documented backup cycle. Closing the account does not erase files on your own computer. Necessary session and language cookies support sign-in and your chosen language. Optional tracking, if introduced, requires prior consent.
6. Security and your rights
We use access controls, encrypted transport, server-side secrets and appropriate logging. No system can be guaranteed risk-free. Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, object to processing or withdraw consent. Contact info@hevu.eu; we normally respond within one month and explain lawful extensions. Your business handles requests from its own customers, with HEVU assisting as its role requires. You may complain to NAIH (naih.hu), another competent supervisory authority or a court.
